Principal Chandra Yonzon Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree

In March, Miss Chandra received a “Doctorate in Social Work (Honoris Causa)” degree granted by the Honorary Doctorate Award Council. The Council is approved by the Indian Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

The award was made in recognition of her commitment to social service and human rights advocacy, through her ongoing service to founding and directing St. Xavier’s School for more than 25 years.  Along with this title, she has been awarded an International Certificate of Membership by the World Human Rights Protection Commission.
